As a former teen activist, I firmly believe in the vital role of youth civic engagement in the quest for global justice. My activism spans continents, having worked and volunteered in the US, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Malaysia. I have over 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, civil society campaigns, event and project management, developing educational materials, and teaching and organizing people of diverse ages and backgrounds

  • More than tripled program reach from 86 participants in one state to over 350 in 32 states by designing and implementing online civic engagement program

  • Raised nearly $150,000 from philanthropy and earned revenue

  • Secured pro bono support (valued at over $150,000) from over 50 volunteers

  • Manage staff and board of 13 in program design/implementation, outreach, external partnerships, and organizational capacity building

  • Served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2015 and 2017
